Our Purpose

Providence Christian School is an independent school comprised of believers of the Lord Jesus Christ attending various churches but coming together as a body of Christ for the education of our children as unto the Lord. The school is a refuge and haven for Christian families who long to build their children’s character on the foundation of God’s Word, the Bible. The children are encouraged to live their lives for the Lord and look for ways to serve Him.

We understand that God is Holy. We observe him as Holy and obey His commands as a Holy people. Lev 11:44. The purpose of our school is to come under the sovereign authority of our Holy God for the instruction of our children taking the scripture from Isaiah, “All their children shall be taught of the Lord” Isaiah 54.

We believe that Jehovah-Jireh, our God the provider, will bless this holy desire. We pray for the provisioning of this school to allow all to come regardless of means. Our tuition is set well below private school norms to allow families to receive the same blessing as others with more means. The school operates as a ministry and we are those who serve.

Our great desire is for the word of God to be written in the hearts of the children; that they would be doers of the word not just hearers.

The Bible says that the fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Again it says of the people of God, “by their love you will know them.” This is the testimony of Jesus Christ we purpose for the hearts and spirits of the children of Providence Christian School.
