We started a school with no experience and you can too!
Message from the Author
We started a school in a country where we did not grow up or attend school. We want to encourage you – starting a small Christian School is not so hard!! We did it.
We have put together our 14 years experience in starting and running a small school. Here’s your guideline: Teacher Manual, Teacher Training Manual, General Forms and Parent Handbook. Take what is useful to you, add or delete as you are led. You can follow the material and gain the benefit of experience in schedules, parent/school communication, encouragement, discipline, grading and reporting. The curriculum decisions are yours.
We hope your ministry will be as enriching as our experience. Growing the children in the Lord, establishing His Word and instilling excellent academic skills was our goal. Here is one of our favorite comments from a well established teacher who consulted in multiple schools. She blessed the school with specific training in Literacy. She said, “I have not been in a school where so many children smiled. But the real shocker to me was seeing the Teachers’ smiling. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
To find out why they are smiling, read some these stories of the children: The Boy Who Could, The Angry Little Girl, The Boy Missing in Plain Sight, The Troubled Boy: A Portrait of Courage, The Girl Who Didn’t Care.
We are available for conferences and teacher training. We are here for your support, as you take the first steps to Start a Small Christian School.
